Sottosopra di Storie Migranti, realised by ASPEm and co-financed by the Fondazione Migrantes, aims to broaden and enhance the dialogue component that stems from listening, in order to promote the overcoming of prejudices, the promotion of social cohesion between different communities and the inclusion of migrant communities, to which it wishes to give voice through diversified and innovative channels and languages of expression and, in particular, through the direct telling of one’s own stories. The self-telling that is to be promoted aims at enhancing and not dispersing that cultural heritage of which migrants are bearers, while at the same time providing citizens with a channel of knowledge and understanding of the Other and supporting the collection, preservation and valorisation of migrant stories that can show, without intermediaries and filters, the complexity of the dynamics of migration and reception underway.
